Course Overview

This qualification aims to guarantee that those who work in or will work in the food industry have the information and skills they need to create safe food. The students will understand the importance of maintaining good practice in the manufacture of safe food. Food safety is seen as critical to the long-term success of any food manufacturing company. Food manufacturing enterprises must prioritize safety to keep food safe, avoid product recalls, and comply with industry requirements.

Who Can Take The Course?

Food safety is seen as critical to the long-term success of any food manufacturing company. Food manufacturing enterprises must prioritize safety to keep food safe, avoid product recalls, and comply with industry requirements. According to learners who obtain this qualification, food safety is the responsibility of everyone involved in the storage, preparation, cooking, serving, and handling of food. Individuals who operate in a manufacturing environment as food handlers should take the Highfield Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Manufacturing (RQF).  Food safety training for food workers is a legal requirement, and this qualification meets that need.

For example, beginners who want to work as a Quality Assurance Manager, HACCP Manager, Quality Chemist, or QA executive.

Duration

Learners would generally receive this international qualification through a one-day training course, i.e., 7 hours. The number of hours spent teaching an average student through lectures, tutorials, supervised study, and blended learning is referred to as guided learning hours. This program’s delivery may be altered to meet the needs of learners and/or local circumstances.

Guidance On Assessment

A multiple-choice question examination is used to assess the qualification. This is an end-of-course test that must adhere to the Highfield Security and Invigilation Guidelines. This test consists of 15 questions that must be answered in 30 minutes. A minimum of 9 correct answers is required for successful students (60%). A distinction will be given to students who get 12 or more right answers (80%).
